Prof. Dr. Julie Selwin is a Professor at the faculty Education and Adoption at the University of Oxford. Her research is focused on improving the outlook of children raised in foster care by the state. Selwin is a board member of the 'National Adoption and Special Guardianship Leadership'. She is the academic advisor of the UK and other governments and she is an expert witness for contested adoption cases in the Supreme Court in Australia and in family courts in England.
