Prof. dr. Paul Boelen is a Professor at the faculty Clinical Psychology in Utrecht. He works as a clinical psychologist/psychotherapist at the ARQ Centrum '45 and he is involved as a Professor at the ARQ National Psychotrauma Centrum. His focus is on psycho-traumatology and grief. Boelen is supervisor at the 'Vereniging voor Gedragstherapie en Cognitieve Therapie'. He is also the head editor of the magazine 'Gedragstherapie'.
