Dr. Suzy Matthijssen works as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist at the Altrecht Academic Center for Anxiety. She is specialised in the treatment of complex anxiety disorders and trauma. As a researcher she also works at the Utrecht University. Matthijssen is a member of the Council of Scholars; The Future of EMDR, member of the board of the Dutch EMDR association and a member of the scientific group EMDR Europe.
