Prof. dr. Anke Ehlers is Professor of Experimental Psychopathology at the University of Oxford, UK, and a Wellcome Trust Principal Research Fellow. She co-founded the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma at the Maudsley Hospital, London, and directs the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma. Anke Ehlers is a Fellow of the British Academy, Academy of Medical Sciences, German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, and Academia Europaea. Her research focuses on anxiety disorders, especially PTSD, panic disorder, and social phobia, with significant contributions to treatment development and guideline development for PTSD.
