Dr. Jannelien Wieland studied medicine in Leuven and conducted her PhD research at the University of Leiden on Psychopathology in borderline intellectual functioning’. She is the co-author of a book about treating patient with a low IQ in the mental healthcare sector. Wieland works as a psyhiatrist at Poli+ and as psychiatrist and case manager at Curium-LUMC. She is a board member of the European Association for Mental Health in Intellectual Disability (EAMHID).
